Meal Plan – Week of 7/19

Hi friends,

I hope you loved last week’s meals. I think my favorite was the Coconut Curry Salmon. I added butternut squash and fresh basil from the garden. It. was. YUM. However, I do have a confession to make – I had a major fail this week! I didn’t look too closely at the Jamaican Beef Patties recipe last week until I started to make it… let me tell ya. I don’t own a rolling pin and when I got to that point in making the dough, it was like a baby deer on ice. We made the most of it though and used the leftover filling to make some delicious tacos. Adjust and adapt, right?

Moving on to this week. We are loving the grill this time of year and some light, summer recipes. That was certainly my inspiration for the week ahead and some yummy grill-friendly recipes. Check out the plan below! You may notice I was really inspired by Pinch of Yum this week.

I hope you loved the Blackberry Cobbler Protein Shake last week, as well as the Strawberry Banana Recovery Shake. This week I’m sharing my new summer inspired protein shake recipes, courtesy of muah!

Coconut Mango Protein Shake Recipe

  • 1 C unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 C frozen mango
  • two scoops of vanilla protein* powder
  • 1 T sun butter (or almond butter)
  • 1 T unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ice

*I prefer a non-dairy based protein powder


Peach Cobbler Protein Shake Recipe

  • 1 C unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 C frozen peaches
  • two scoops of vanilla protein* powder
  • 1 T sun butter (or almond butter)
  • 1 t butter extract
  • ice

*I prefer a non-dairy based protein powder
